My mother really took it tough when I told her for the first time back in 2011 that I wanted to transition. And now when I woke up I saw a notification on facebook that she has listed me as her daughter in her 'about-page' on her profile!

Things really have turned for the good!

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

Congratulations! We share so many painful experiences on this site, and rightly so, that it is so encouraging to hear about the big successes. Thank you for sharing and making my day. Anne

I agree with Anne Blake. Congratulations. Hold on to that when times get tough but keep hoping for more good days.

That's wonderful! Makes me happy to read stuff like this.
My mother took my transition very hard too, but now, years later she always refers to me as her daughter. That never stops being special to me.
