If I'm on the hrt mtf, can I get tooth work safely? The work I need done are crowns

I have never had any complications with dentistry, and that includes fillings, root canals, and extractions. Crowns should not be an issue.

Discuss this with your dentist. Make sure they know ALL the meds you are on. They can tell you what is safe to have done.

But dentists put crowns in both men and women who have natural hormone production so I would expect a positive outcome

I agree with Jin, your dentist needs to know your meds. I do not believe that the e will be a problem but Spiro is also used for blood pressure control in some patients and you don't want any bad surprises with what ever your dentist is using.  Anne

The only restrictions I have heard of are if you are on warfarin you need to stop taking it a day or two before. If choppers are being extracted they will give you prophylactic dose of Antibiotics  I am on every heart related medication known to man including Spiro which is a diuretic used for congestive heart failure.  The only one they seem to be concerned about is the blood thinner and rat killer warfarin.

My Dentist, hygienist and their office staff were super cool and the HRT posed no issue. The Dentist had a friend transition and he as very understanding and excited for me.

They want complete medical history.
I don't believe HRT is an issue at all, and I don't think there are any interactions from T suppression with commonly used medications in dentistry.

From what I know, dentists will want to know if you are on anything that alters blood clotting (warfarin, aspirin etc), blood pressure, and bone metabolism (drugs for osteoporosis) if you are going to be having surgery in your mouth.
