I'd been looking for information about SRS in Thailand for years, and my first choice was Dr. Suporn until last year. I had heard things about Dr. Thiti, but there really wasn't any solid information about him. I contacted NAS medical travel agency about a year ago and wanted to look into my options. As everyone who has been trying to find information about Dr. Thiti would know it's not easy to find any, and I'd like to share my experience.

I had my surgery on July 5th, 2016, and I arrived in Bangkok on the 29th of June. I had not met or spoken to the doctor directly at this point. My agent, Sarah, was taking care of everything for me. I had my consultation on the 4th of July. I had BA and SRS done all at once, so we discussed about the CCs and which technique we'd go for, just some normal things. Dr. Thiti is a very lovely person. He was smiley the whole time, and right before we were about to leave, I asked "Do I pay now?" and he simply said "I'll tell Sarah and she'll let you know, but for now you just go home and rest for the surgery tomorrow. "

My surgery was in the morning, 9am on the 5th to be exact, and the only thing that was scaring me was when do I pay?! I kept asking Sarah if she knew anything about it yet, and she just told me to relax and if the doctor doesn't get back to her before I leave for the surgery, then just don't worry about it. So the morning comes, I thought the cleansing would've started a lot earlier, but it did not start till two hours before the surgery. I got wheeled in at about 30 mins before the surgery, and 30 mins later I finally saw Dr. Thiti. He asked me how I felt and everything, then he draw some lines on my chest for BA and checked my about-to-say-goodbeye buddy down there(cuz he forgot to check it at the consultation lol), but everything was fine. Before he put me to sleep, I said "Pleases make sure I don't wake up till it's done." and he responded "Don't worry, you won't feel a thing. Now have a sweet dream." Of course I was out before I knew anything, and then I woke up not knowing where I was, but I heard a nurse saying "madam are you ok?" and I said " is it done? " she replied with a very happy voice "yes and now we will move you back to your room."

I had 5 days in the hospital, and like everyone has said, BA was more painful than SRS itself. But it wasn't really that painful. Most of the pain was caused because of laying down for too long and they were too heavy. And I discovered I'm immune to painkillers, even morphine didn't work on me, so I basically went through the whole recovery feeling all the pain. Thankfully it did not last too long, I felt better as soon as I got out of the hospital and checked into the hotel. I had not paid for Dr.Thiti or the hotel at this point... The staff at the hotel told me I could pay them when I feel better. I was  amazed by how kind and nice people were to me. 2 days later, a week post op, I went back to the hospital to get my stitches out, which is when I finally paid Dr. Thiti, and had Dr. Thiti look at everything, he said everything looked fine and I could go to the bathroom by myself. He taught me how to dilate and showed me how much depth I got, it was almost 6 inches. I was grateful for having my surgery done with this surgeon.

11 days post op, I was feeling great, went out to Central Plaza for bra shopping! But I did need to take a few breaks along this shopping trip. Sarah was taking care of me making sure I didn't overdo the walking. At 2 week post op, I had gone out by myself with a friend who was visiting. I was feeling great :) I couldn't be happier now that I wasn't in pain and could actually have fun.

It's almost 3 week post op now, and I would say I'm more than okay to do things by myself now. I've been out shopping, out on dates, and drinking, which I'm not sure if the doctor would be too pleased about haha..

The only thing I had a problem with in this entire journey, was how my surgeon wouldn't let me pay him in the first place lol but other than that it has been amazing.

Detailed information about BA: I have 425cc, silicone gel, textured implants on both sides and dual plane and incisions under the breast fold. I'd say they still get sore sometimes but it's probably because I've been out late everyday for the past week. And about my little girl down there, I can pee normally and it only stings when the nerves are reconnecting which is mostly just discomfort.

I hope this is an useful and helpful information for everyone out there who'd been looking for information about Dr. Thiti but couldn't find any :)

Hi Selina,
I am glad to hear that your surgeries went well and you had a good experience in Thailand. I found the website for the agency you mentioned (NAS) and they had some videos interviewing Dr Thiti.

Now that it has been a bit more time since your surgery, how are the scars healing? I am really concerned about getting keloids.

Also - given that Thiti in the interview says he uses penile inversion, how is your cosmetic result?

Dear Hayley,

So back in my country, I had to have 3 certificates from three different doctors(2 psychiatrists, 1 plastic surgeon) in order to have my identity changed legally. So when I went in to see the plastic surgeon, he had to check that all the male parts are gone and the female parts are in the right places. First of all, it was not a pleasant experience simply because the surgeon went pretty rough on me. But he did say it looks very nice, and the scars along the labia majora were barely noticeable, only the top of the scars are noticeable.

It's my two month post op mark today, and everything's been amazing. The appearance is very natural, or "pretty"(according to the people who have seen it). I personally can not be happier with the results. It's still a little bit numb in some areas but over all everything's healing nicely, not fully, but surely. About getting keloids, apparently it only appears on the upper part of the body so it should be fine down there. The only problems I have are the smell and the "running" thing. I have to wear pads all the time or I'd stain my underwear.  I was back at work full time when I was 5 week post op, and back at the gym working out yesterday. For someone who got two procedures done at the same time, I'd say my recovery has been remarkable:)  But do keep in mind, everyone's different :) If you have any more questions, ask away :D
