Actually this time it was the good kind.  After so many years when I was in the closest and feeling ashamed of myself and my crossdressing when I used to purge women's clothes I finally had enough, came out and started living full time and transitioning last Thanksgiving.   I've attended lots of therapy sessions with a great counselor and love my support group meetings now and love reading and posting on Susan's.

And so today marks a happy milestone for me that I wanted to share.  Today I got rid of every last stitch of male clothing I had.  I've got quite a serviceable female wardrobe now and I've had "getting rid of all my old male clothes I never wear anymore" on my To Do list for awhile.  But still, you have no idea how good it felt to see them all finally go.

Congratulations! I hope I'll get there soon. I still wear male clothes at work, and it's such a pain. I would love to see them burn.

Congratulations!

I can imagine you and Jane Emily watching them burn.  Both of you are so beautiful.

Thx. I actually considered doing a ceremonial burning.  But when I started gathering them together I was like, "Nope that'll take to long. They're all going down to the ARC now!

Woot!  That's a wonderful milestone, and I hope to participate in next year's purge as well.

Congratulations.
When I first noticed your subject line of a clothing purge, you had me worried. I was going to suggest you just get rid of your least favorite items, but by no means get rid of your female wardrobe entirely.
You had me totally fooled.
What a joy for you! A purge of the very best kind!

For us it must remain a dream . . .

Thx Anne. I pray soon it becomes more than a dream for you.  For so much of my life it was only a dream. A sweet dream I thought I would never know.

But I dreamed of becoming a woman and now, as if by magic, I can.

Thx Donna.  The kind of joy that brings tears to my eyes.
OMG, the estrogen is making me such a girl.
