I also have a well developed chest structure from my fathers side of the family. The best way to deal with it is to avoid tight fitting tops. Some CIS women also have this issue as well as other and they have selected their wardrobe to match their body. If you were to ask your mother, I suspect she would tell you there are some things she would never wear because they don't look good on her.

Being attractive is not so much as having the right body but knowing what looks good on you. There are some years I find it difficult to buy clothes because the styles don't work for me. Other years, everything seems to work.

I have noticed an improvement. I do not look smaller in my opinion but since starting HRT I have noticed that I lost nearly 2.75 inches on my band size. I do not know if this is due to muscle loss or the HRT doing something to me allowing my ribcage to adjust... I am not a heavy girl. I am 5'8" weighing 160 lbs. I am athletically built. I do have a good bit of muscle on my body, but not much around my lats.

This is in my case.

If anything you may become smaller in the case of muscle loss. HRT cannot change your bone structure.

You only have two realistic options but it also depends what part of ribs we are talking. I was unfortunate enough that mine protruded quite a bit.

1. Corsets. Mixed reviews on this but I found personally that if done correctly it works. It should never be painful but it will be uncomfortable. 4-8 hours a day minimum. I have so far gone from a 38-39ish to a 35ish so far. Can't be rushed.

2. Bigger tits. I've seen some beautiful models that have big chest cavities (Emily bloom on hegre I believe) and having bigger breasts makes it look less obtrusive.

Bones suck

Kinda. But it would be hard to type here without them ;)

They can be a challenge but so can everyone and everything. Sometimes a good coping mechanism(Dena's and others advice) are the right answer.

Any solutions I come up with would sound like something out of Frankenstein. Uh, you shouldn't listen to me.

Here is some research on corsets and changing your ribcage shape.  Hope this helps.  https://lucycorsetry.com/research-corset-brands/guided-galleries/conical-rib-corsets/

It's a really stupid notion which went through my imagination.
I imagined grinding the bones down to make them smaller, but I don't think it works like that.
