Disappointment with Stylish Flesh

I had heard so many positive reviews on here that I knew the Ali would be my next packer. I really want an STP that I can feel confident with, and even with little experience, I was optimistic that it would work for me. Instead, I got a very mixed result.

Packing? It's great. Seriously. I went from a MASHO to this huge thing, and it was worried it was going to be so obvious, since I insist on wearing boxers and loose clothing, but after walking around uncomfortably for a bit, everything sorta fit into place and looked and felt great. It looks amazing, though I keep getting some weird flaps of the material coming off, probably through chaffing or something. Other than a small manufacturing error, it feels and looks very realistic.

Things kinda fell apart for the STP element. It just doesn't work so well for me. It's not the product's fault, my anatomy is just too "big?" for the cup to fit over everything, so I have to wedge it in between, and I can't get a good seal.

The worst part by far, though, is the clasp. I had heard concerns about it, but I didn't expect it to break after three days. I don't know if I was just too rough with it,  but I really was trying to be gentle. I noticed a small rip at first, but before I knew it it, it was completely torn.

After such good customer service, I was pretty disappointed that my concerns were met with a "buy a new one." I don't think I will. I was told it was impossible to repair, but with some help from the internet and the furry community (Bad Dragon forums), I was able to fix it and make the clasp more durable than when I received it.

I suppose that's my review, of sorts, of this product. It has its positives, but that stupid clasp keeps me from saying I'm satisfied with this product. I can look over a few things, but a part of it actually breaking is something I can't simply brush off.

Hi, Auryn.  I am sorry to hear your clasp broke, but glad to hear that you learned of a way to fix it!

I bought one with the original spoon and was happy with it.  The one he created later was larger and added to the size/heft of the packer.

I am still not using it though, as I am using the EZP STP.

That's sad to hear. I went with freetom just because I didn't want to have to fiddle with the clasp element of stylish flesh although they were high up on my options list. Yours is the first negative review I've seen. But that seems like a MAJOR design flaw. :/ I'm sorry that happened. Good to get the word out though.

I too broke the clasp on mine after a short time, any chance you would tell me how you fixed it or what you used to fix it?

He really should consider going back to the regular spoon.  It was a wide, silicone spoon and worked perfectly.  Only downside is that you needed to use his harness to button it closed.  It was a pretty ingenious design, actually.  The only reason I could think that he changed it was so that people didn't have to use his harness.  That was probably something people asked for.

Gaspar seemed really interested in hygiene and thought getting the spoon out of the way would save people from getting infections and such.  I don't  know  much about it,  but the idea sounded good.
He still recommended the harness when I  bought it.  I think it is a great idea,  the clasp nay be better  now.  That was back about  6 months ago for me.
I would be interested in hearing more honest feedback on the clasp part from people who have had it and use it heavily for more than a couple of weeks.

I know you haven't posted here in a while, but I am looking for a stylish flesh and was wondering if you'd be willing to sell yours considering you weren't to satisfied with it? It's obviously up to you, but i'd greatly appreciate it so please let me know if you see this and what your answer would be?

Hello, I know you haven't posted here for a while, but I was wondering since you don't use your stylish flesh anymore if you were willing to sell it? They shut down a while back, but I've been looking to get my hands on one, please let me know your answer even if you don't want to give it up :)
