Can you weigh too much for hrt? I'm not overly big but I'm still worried I might get turned away.

It might depend on the doctor but yes. If you weight enough that the doctor is concerned about health issues due to weight, they may require that you lose weight before you are given HRT. In addition, should you desire surgery in the future, some doctors have BMI requirements so they can produce cosmetically desirable outcomes.

I believe estrogen increases some risks of being overweight. On the other hand being stressed because your trans and not taking HRT is pretty unhealthy too.

I've been overweight and one Specialist told me I should stop HRT. Wasn't going to happen, and I eventually managed to fix it all by increasing it instead - way easier to lose weight if your not depressed. Increased by an endo specialising in trans medicine too.

It's going to depend on the doctor you see, but better to lose weight obviously.
