Girls, I Need some advice about HRT

Hey Girls, I have been on HRT for the last 5 months, 4 months on estrogen pills, last month the Dr put me on a Patch, but it was such a low doseage patch that I have lost all the estrogen in my system.  A week ago, I did blood tests and the Dr decided to put me back on the Pills.  The physical affects were that I lost my breast buds, lost emotions, and my skin felt thicker, kind of weird, I know.  Now I am back to taking the Pills, My question is has this happened to anyone else and will it be like I am starting over from scratch or will my breast buds return in a reasonable time and will I go thru the Nipple pain again?  Please Help.  Samantha

I have been on Spiro for the last 25 years. And IMHO the nipple pain rears it's ugly head 4 - 5 times a year. Burning hot with white nipple tips. Feel like I'm writing a romance novel. The pain dissipates after a couple hours. But is a really intense couple of hours.

Thanks Dawn, have you ever gone off the Estrogen and a month later back on?

I went off for a few years and then back on.  It may take some time to elevate the estrogen levels, but everything will begin happening again, pain and all.

In my group we all have had and use various types of E and delivery systems. Its mainly YMMV as to which works best
