Well, I've kept this one fairly close to my chest until I officially found out...

I've been successful in being selected for a team in our national ice hockey league for women. I approached it very tentatively because, I was a very successful male player prior to transition - playing internationally etc. There has never been any transgender ice hockey players in my country that have asked the question about playing in their transitioned gender leagues. So I hope it opens the path for others...

I have found the process to be very respectful, and I experienced a great deal of acceptance overall. There's still lots of work to be done on it, but its a huge win for me.

Congratulations, on making the team and breaking new ground!

Hey, does this mean you are a role model now? :)
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.
