Dr. Brassard - Waiting for date!

Ok, I know that we use the word patience a lot on this site, but....... I am in wait mode  to hear from the clinic re: my date. All my paper work has been in since the end of July. I know the staff all had holidays in the middle of August. I am not handling the waiting too well. My question to all you girls who have had GRS or have a date with Dr. Brassard, is "How long did you have to wait for a date once your complete referral was in?". I don't want to pester them with phone calls, I have already phoned a few times over the last few months. All my life I have been told how patient I am. Well,.......

It was 8 weeks for me.  However, the surgery wait after that was quicker than I expected.  I was given the date in the beginning of July and my surgery is the beginning of November.

Thanks Jessica! I actually had my referral in by June 7 but I had to go back and forth with extra information. I do know that my file was send to the clinical nurse for final review at the beginning of  August. Approval for funding from my province will be needed. This I was assured, is a two day turn around after they receive the request fax .
