i have been lurking the last couple of days so i thought i would register and introduce myself. I am a 51 year old trans girl who lives in Indianapolis indiana. I am comfortable going out dressed and try to head out about once a week or so. I do dress fem around the house and this includes mowing the grass and other outside chores. I have told many of my friends and some of my family who i am and for the most part have been accepted. I am not out at work (high school education) boy scouts, and church (Catholic and do a lot of work with the youth group) I have been under the care of a therapist and a doctor for the last 2 years. Been on hormones for about 14 months now and the next step i hope will be laser beard removal. I am considering srs but it will be a long way down the road. As an educator i do have my summers off and the last couple of years i have been heading to Nazareth Farms in west virginia (they do have a web site if anyone wants to take a peak) and work on underprivledged people's homes. I also do trans panels at the local university and belong to a support group called Indy Girlz which is under the umbrella now of Trans indy. I am fairly comfortable in my transition and also fairly open.  I am currently divorced the last 4 years and have 2 adult children who know and understand If anyone has any questions or wants to chat sometime let me know

Welcome aboard Jendawn!!! ... Glad you decided to jump in the pool instead of lurking! Life us for living and making connections with others!

Take Care!

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment" ... Ralph Waldo Emerson 🌸

"The individual has always had to struggle from being overwhelmed by the tribe... But, no price is too high for the privilege of owning yourself" ... Rudyard Kipling 🌸

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
