I Screwed Up My T Dose...Things Gonna Be Okay?

Trans guy, on T for 3 months and just had my dose upped. Each bottle should have enough for two doses. But I mismeasured one of my doses, only had one vial, and I wasn't able to get enough T in my last shot. Am I gonna be okay? I'm not going to be able to get my refill for another few days. What do I do?

I don't have medical training but if you can, you should contact your doctor for advice. If the difference isn't great, being a little light on  a dosage shouldn't make much difference but if the difference is large, you may have some physical responses to it. Possibly you will have shark week or menopause like symptoms.

It's okay. You'll just do your regular dose on your next shot day. In the future, you should have a refill available, draw the last of your current vial, switch tips, then draw up enough to get a full dose from the new vial.

I would see if your doctor can give you a prescription for a 10ml vial. The 1ml vials are awful because of this sort of thing.

Thanks both of you. I just messaged my doctor, so hoping she'll get back to me soon.

So here's my question. I just got my refill (yesterday actually, not long after I wrote the post). Do I go ahead and "catch up" with my dose (and give myself the amount of T I missed) now that I have a few months worth of vials with me or just wait until my next shot day and administer my regular dose amount?

I personally would just wait until the next dose, but your doctor will be able to advise you on what they prefer.
