That time of the month

I have noticed that about once a month since starting hrt, I tend to get emotional and bitchy. That little period has passed as of this morning. I have heard that may be Similar to a cis-woman's equivalent once a month time, as far as the emotional aspect. Has anyone else experienced something similar?  Just curious..
