I'm still a bit sore... maybe another week and I'll be ok... there are times when I'm not too sore... but today I went to go to a store and oh boy pain started had to go back home

Im so happy for you jujubes1986 .   Im getting mine done with brassard  before xmas  this means less then 1.5 month from now )

Im also getting my jaw contouring done at same time with dr Bensimon.   


Cant wait,  happy to see everything went well 

Maybe once I save up some money I'll go to bensimon... I need FFS

I was back a week and decided to walk a km, I was so wasted afterwards. My friends were concerned I was pushing too hard.

Have you talked to a medical staff? I know they are good if you call the clinic or email.

It seems like I'm coming down with a cold... I feel cold and the swelling I can feel it today! I think I have pushed myself too hard today... I went to go see my family and did some errands... it says on the manual I can drive 2 weeks after surgery it's been 17 days now... I just took some T3 maybe that'll help and last dilation tonight hopefully it won't be painful... I missed my 1pm dilation so I added 10 minutes to my 4pm dilation.

Still if something is off, don't wait as long as you would have in the past this time because lets face it our bodies have went through major surgery recently so the risk of something going wrong and quicker is greater. Hugs

Do you have a fever or chills, a strong foul odor, increased swelling, increased redness, large amount of drainage then call your surgeon's pager (from Dr. McGinn's post op instruction page). If they are not available you may want to go to the ER.

All good indicators, checking your temperature regularly (i think i mentioned this in a past post) is a good way to see if your fighting a possible infection!  Now young lady! take it from your big sisters that have been there, lol give yourself time, you have the rest of your life ahead of you now, dont try doing too much ie, walking too much or over tiring  yourself!  xoJulie
