I have no doubt that you are frustrated and have regrets about your surgery. This is not uncommon. You are, as I said earlier, a strong woman! The issues that come up post surgery of any kind vary person to person. I know that it is very difficult for you now, wanting to pursue a physical relationship and all. As difficult as it seems now, it is critical that you keep a positive view of your future in recovery. Our bodies can respond negatively in relationship to our emotional state. I have seen this in my counselling clients during the time that I practiced. I am continuing to send you positive thoughts! Many hugs! Kelly
Thnx Kelly

Finally... going in to my 6 month... I'm doing #3 and #4 dilators twice a day! I'm a month behind my dilation schedule but that's ok :)

QuoteSo I asked my family doctor to refer me but the ones she knows did not want to see me as a patient

Why not ask others, who have had the surgery, who they go to?  Perhaps CAMH can advise.
I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Started HRT April 17, 2019.

QuoteNow i need to save for ffs... so my face will look like a female...

Actually, I find it looks quite feminine.  I'd love to be able to look that good!

I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

jujubes1986, you have to keep the dilating regular or you pay the price for awhile.

Just got the book at the recovery centre!  I know it is at times inconvenient, But keep with it! It will make your life happier in the end. I don't know what to expect this weekend, when I start dilations.

Yes we are! So nice to share experience with someone. Hope all is going well with you. We are coming up to three weeks post surgery. Living each day by the 'schedule'!
