My wife and I are getting divorced, and although my legal name is my female name, the name on the marriage certificate is my male name. Does anybody know what name should be put down on the D8 form?

I would assume it would be my legal name and I simply send off my deed poll along with my marriage certificate.

Thanks, Emily x

Most likely would be your legal name. If you did a court ordered name change there should be a statement on it that says you must use this name for everything.

Your legal name upon filing the divorce papers I believe is what you do. No matter what it is best to check with the court and your lawyer in regards to the divorce papers and the name required on them. Hugs
