Pshrink #2, the gender experienced psychologist finished up with me at 3 sessions.

Looks like surgery recommendation letters are around the corner and I talk to Dr Satterwhite in just over 2 weeks.

I feel so much closer to making the outie an innie.

More good news, the two pshrinks have indeed talked, I got this yesterday morning:

Yes!  I spoke with Dr. Xxxxxx at the end of the week and we had a good conversation -- she was very positive.

She more or less went through screening for specific diagnosis, ruling out contraindicated things etc. She said she'll be in touch with you to consult.

I'm assuming this means she's prepared to recommend me for SRS, glad for that of course and I have my (probably phone) consultation with Dr Satterwhite Oct 5.

In today's session I got my therapist's promise in person that both of them are ready to write GCS letters.

So that's a done deal and (knocking wood) money is looking better for being able to proceed.

Lastly, my insurer verified last week that they will not compel me to go to the BMC team. While I'm not wild about having to go do this on the road, I'm completely wild about SF, haven't been there in too long and still favor a practice with more miles under their belts :-)
