Hello! So I was wondering if anyone on here might have any advice for me. Lately, I've been feeling very dysphoric, but I've slowly been doing more things to make myself feel more feminine. My girlfriend has helped me use makeup and wear some of her clothes, and I'm out to a few close friends and my father (I don't live with my mother). I was wondering if maybe I should just start trying to present as female all the time. The thing is, I'm only a sophomore in high school in a state where LGBT aren't very accepted (northern Idaho). Any advice on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey! Im going through something similar as you, I want to be more feminine at school as well... Im a senior and I dont know what to do... I have a couple of friends that full on support me but people would be shocked... My advice for you would be to just do it in free ur time when u are with people u trust and then once u build enough confidence and trust go for it.

Hi, it really depends on your school. I live in Seattle and have been full time for a year (just started sophomore year) and have been on hormones for just about four months. I have yet to face any discrimination in public or at school- which has been great. I believe in doing what is best for you and whatever you want to do- and the haters will move out of the way (eventually). I would think more about your school and towns climate before making that decision- but it's really great that you are actually considering that!!

I would recommend the YouTuber BeautyWithTrinity, she has lots of videos on her experiences of transitioning in high school. Goodluck!  :D
