Is it okay to wear a binder to gym/PE in school?

So I have PE/Gym in school and I'm wondering if its okay to wear a binder during the class? I haven't done it but its been a thought. I don't wear my binder much cause I wear baggy shirts. But at times I want to wear it since my breasts are getting slightly bigger. We don't have much time in the Locker room and I know a binder is pretty tough to put on and off. So should I just stick the the baggy shirts and wear my binder on days where I don't have PE and school? Or should I try it and see what happens? Or is this just unsafe and shouldn't risk it? I wouldn't suggest exercising with your binder i was told this by a couple other FTM friends when i got my binder
and i believe its because it restricts you from breathing properly and things so you shouldn't
And if for some reason you do exercise with your binder on i suggest being careful and don't do this for long.
I went hiking up a mountain and forgot i had my binder on i ended up fine but i had a really hard time breathing
so i'd for sure be careful, binders in general without exercising or just talking a walk should be fine. :)

I wouldn't do it. I've tried working out with a binder on so that I can go to a gym, and I wound up feeling extremely sick and out of breath. If you need to compress while in gym class, probably best to stick with sports bras.

Don't exercise in a binder. Layering sports bras is a safer idea.

I don't recommend any cardiovascular exercise whilst binding; as others have said, it restricts your breathing and you can wind up with serious medical complications.

A good guide is to see whether the exercise makes you pant. Anything that makes you pant is too much activity for binding - and in those cases, you should use a sports bra (or two) instead. Other forms of exercise (such as weight training) are fine as long as they're not significantly raising your heart rate to the point where you're panting.

I wouldn't recommend it as I heard it can cause problems even if you are careful.
But I'm a hypocrite as I used to double bind in full binders at a physically demanding and humid job. Luckily, I didn't have trouble in those few years. I also learned how to breathe small short breaths when I was a kid in order to hide panic attacks, so I breathe like that while binding.

If you have to wear a binder, I would go with what FTMDiaries said and see what causes you to pant/be careful. I would also vote on attempting to control breathing and staying hydrated (8 cups of water a day hydrated).

As for the locker room, I don't know as I didn't start binding until after high school. While gross (sweaty), it's not fun/took a good couple of minutes to take binders off or put them on. If you choose to wear a binder, you could either wear it all day or switch between two (one for gym, one for school). There are also tri top binders and swim binders that would potentially work better/be less restrictive and easier to change.
