This coming week marks 7 months of transition, 4 months of real life experience, being full time, and passing full time. I honestly never thought I would be at this point, enjoying life, growing into the woman I was meant to be, being a woman, it's all amazing. It's all gone by so fast too. Not only that, this coming week I'll have the results hopefully on my legal name change, and I'll be getting my gender marker changed too. I'll finally be legally a woman and my legal name Scarlet. It feels amazing to have come so far  in so little time. Passing in public and no one knows your trans, it's a feeling, even after 4 months of RLE, that still takes some getting used to. Feeling normal, like you fit in. It's kind of weird to feel normal, it's kind of scary sometimes, but it feels good and right. Even at 7 months, I know I still have years of physical and mental development to go, but I at least know, I'm going to enjoy the changes as they continue. I will say it's not all happy times. Learning how to wear a bra, or more so the discomfort of it sucks lol. I was excited at first, but after about 2 weeks, I was already like, omg this sucks but I love it. Also, pervs, pervs are super annoying. I never thought I'd have to deal with pervs, but it's a thing that's kind of annoying, and most of them aren't trans ->-bleeped-<-, but people who don't know I'm trans XD I have gotten used to the rate of change at this point. But other than that, it's the same as usual

how far along are you Kathy? And I am grateful for my genetics and how well I've taken to the hormones. I hope it goes well for you too!

Thanks, Scarlet.  I should be getting my letter for HRT this week, and expect to be on HRT by the end of the year.  (Waiting lists ... Grr!)  My target for coming out publicly is some time next spring.

Congratulations and while we seem to have started HRT at almost the same time, I'm far behind with regards to RLE. I'm still forced to present male at home and can only be me, when alone or when my wife is out of town.
What surprised me the most so far was how different I'm treated by men while I present female. It's actually shocking to see guys now from the other side of the pond and how some are really sweet and comforting while others just look at you like a piece of meat...

Hugs
Jessica

Feel free to PM me, I'm happy to help, don't be shy... :)

Seeing guys from the other side really is an eye opener. when they are sweet it's amazing and I get all warm and fuzzy, but most guys seem to see you as a piece of meat and it sucksssssssss. It really is shocking, but I do find some part of me enjoying the extra attention. I hate the amount of pervs I deal with. I made the decision to go full time and haven't looked back and I'm glad I did. Hugs I hope you can go full time soon!!

Congrats and good luck on your upcoming gender marker and name change. Yeah that is true in some cases and sadly that is something that takes a moment to get used to. I'm so glad everything is going well for you. Hugs

Congrats girl! I looove reading stuff like this because it's so flipping inspiring! I'm pre everything right now and I'm literally screaming inside my own head because I feel so bad. That's why I love your post though. Makes me feel like I'll be ok eventually  ;)

You'll get there hun! I promise <3 It honestly isn't a cake walk, but it gets easier as you move forward. I was honestly surprised how fast 7 months have gone by. But I'm sure you'll turn out amazing!

So you are on HRT but, if I understand your post, you are not out with your wife.  That sounds complicated - how do you manage to keep things like appointments and treatments a secret?

I have almost zero RLE - I would guess having guys giving you attention as a female would be a real ego boost, but then dealing with the pushy, creepy types would be off-putting.  Welcome to being a Woman???  :-\
