Are there any reports (preferably scientific reports) which talk about the amount of pain that a person with prosthetic balls suffers when he gets kicked in the balls?

Apologies if this is a stupid question; however, I am genuinely curious as to whether or not people with prosthetic balls experience as much pain as people with natural/biological balls experience when they get kicked in the balls.

Anyway, does anyone here have any thoughts and/or data in regards to this?

Also, Yes, I have already tried Googling this and unfortunately couldn't find much about this topic. :(

It appears that you have never received a blow to that area with the original hardware in place. If so, you would know the exact source of the pain. One issue I can see with implants might be encapsulation, a problem common to breast implants as well.

Just because the items themselves might not cause pain doesn't mean their being there can't cause pain as Dena mentioned above. Hugs

Actually, I did get kicked in the balls once--specifically by some kid back when I was in 8th grade. However, I didn't know the exact source of this pain.

Also, please pardon my ignorance, but does encapsulation of prosthetic testicles (and of prosthetic testicles, for that matter) actually hurt a lot?

Out of curiosity--please pardon my extreme ignorance in regards to this, but what exactly causes the extremely massive testicular pain that occurs when one's biological/natural testicles get kicked?

Lets see, I have never had to deal with that and maybe my being intersex might have something to do with that. However, I do believe it has to do with he amount of nerves and the sensitivity of that area are probably why it hurts like that. Anyway that is just my opinion. Hugs
