If you could have any Xmen power good or bad which one would you choose?

This might not be the right area for this but this is something I have been pondering.  I would choose Mystique for obvious reasons...but I wish I could combine Mystique, Wolverine for the body regerative abilities and long life, and Professor X for his mind control abilities....I would so mess with people if Inhad Prof X powers....whats your combos?

Wisdom and experience, the two most awesome powers ever invented. Then again if I were a "Q" it would be so cool to be able to reach into a star and stir it up, or even better, start one up from scratch!

I would have Mimic's power to copy other people's powers. You could do almost anything you wanted with that power.

Definitely shapeshifting. You'd never need to apply makeup again. Or hit the gym. Or go through the ordeal of dying your hair. The list goes on and on.

Having the power of Q would be awesome. As far as the X men, I'd take the power of Raven, so I could look however I like. Anything else seems a bit frivolous to me.

These days, I'm obsessed with Storm's powers.  Not so much for the flying and the lightning, but the way it would enable her to be the protector of a whole region.  I imagine spending so much time and energy regulating the weather in a given area.  Making sure there is not too much rain, that there is proper wind, etc.  It's an incredible responsibility!

Then I imagine if she got a hold of a power amplifier like Cerebro, she could maybe control the whole world's climate.  Woooaah!

Well, as someone mentioned, Mystique would be perfect for any trans or gender-non-conforming person.

But I still have a lot of residual anger:

I have always related to Magneto, even before I came out. Here's someone who has had the world try to exterminate him and his people TWICE. With the conservatives trying like hell to remove people like me from public spaces, deny healthcare, etc, I can relate a bit, although obviously not on as grand and terrible a scale.

After X-Men apocalypse, every time I heard of yet another legal/social blow, I kept hearing the line running through my head, "Everything they've built will fall..." And I can only hope that becomes true.

But on a less serious note, I notice people have diverged a bit from x-men here. If I could pick any power, and lived in a universe with other powered people, I'd choose Sylar from Heroes. Stealing the power of others to make myself stronger!

I would love to turn back time. None of the core X Men team could do that (if I remember correctly) but still, for me it's probably the best power to have.
