"Trans sitcom Boy Meets Girl has been axed after just two series, the BBC has confirmed.
The show was first commissioned in 2014, following an exhaustive BBC talent search aiming to develop a show focussed on the transgender community.
Starring trans actress Rebecca Root, the comedy revolved around the developing relationship between 40-year-old trans woman Judy and 26-year-old cis man Leo (Harry Hepple)."

Perhaps a little too soon, but I'll bet that it won't be too long until we see another sitcom with a major recurring character who is trans.

Of course, the Drew Carey show had a recurring CD character who was shown in a positive light some years ago.

I guess there are some obvious titles to use at this stage of the game.

is a movie of the same title, but obviously a different concept. I saw on it Netflix and it was nothing like my experience, but it was so well done, well acted, with some very funny and powerful scenes. One of the best trans-centered movies I've seen.
