This is a reserve fund that makes up for shortfalls in the monthly goals, when there are hardware issues, or we need to purchase hardware or software for the site. It is not used for personal purposes, and will be stored in a account that is separate from all other purposes.
Once the operational buffer is established and fully funded, we will then start working on raising the funds necessary for the new project.
This $500 a month increase does not give me any increase in the compensation I personally receive for the work I do on the web site. I receive no benefit from it at all, unless there is a shortfall during a month.
