I've noticed a bit more dispersonalization after starting hrt. Not sure why.

I know reality might not be as pleasant as the concept, but I'd love to be in the position of crying so easily, overwhelmed by female emotions.

As I posted earlier, I never was much of a tear shedder before but since starting hrt tears have flowed freely. Lately I have been going through a lot of transition "stuff" and the wrestling with all of the identity "stuff" (not even mentioning the political "stuff") has been intensely hammering both my head and my heart. I am so thankful that the crying is coming very easily for me as the relief of a good sobbing cry is unbelievably soul cleansing. Almost as helpful as a good hug.

I was emotional before HRT now I get emotional much more easily. I am use to it now and it is a release of emotions. It has a good feeling afterwards.

When my testosterone bottomed out i had my share of crying.  everyone is different, my T levels need to be 20 to 50 to not be an emotional wreck, others can be in single digits and function fine.  if you are depressed or get depressed and still have crying episode i would encourage you to talk with your HRT doc and get some blood work going

It's part of the journey into womanhood. I get emotional say when watching a tearjerker movie which might be tears and or rushes throughout my body but never cry without an external stimulus.

As time goes by you may find yourself on a emotional rollercoaster and have times when things for lack of better words will become normal without a lot of sensory reactions or go in the opposite direction, everyone is different.

You'll get used to it. Just watch out for overloaded emotions in any direction. If any emotion is too strong, even anger, I end up in uncontrollable tears and half the time I don't even know what I'm crying about. My wife says it's depression, but it's not. It's just learning how to cope with emotions that weren't there before.
