'Ten years ago this month, Atlanta voters elected Cathy Woolard to a seat on the Atlanta City Council, making her the first openly gay elected official in Georgia. On Tuesday, metro area voters could increase the state's current roster of openly gay elected officials from seven to 10, and they will determine whether the state's only openly transgender politician gets a second term.'
