I was thinking of buying an at-home hair removal solution. Now I'm trying to find reputable places that can highlight the benefits and disadvantages of any of my options. What do you think of epilatiors? I Read that it's a painful method, but it's results shouldn't be too permanent. Do you have any experience with that particular method?

I have a professional electrolysis machine. They can be bought used for very little. That said, using one does take some practice and perhaps also aptitude so it probably isn't for everyone...

I have an epilator, home wax system and hair removal cream.
The epilator can be painful in some areas and does work well. Hair growth comes back soon after so is not a long term solution.
The waxing kit is the same but  a little harder to use on some parts of the body if you have no help.
I have only used the cream on small areas as I have a wife that does not want me to remove any hair. I will be attacking some small areas soon.
I am due to go to a beauty salon this afternoon to have my regular waxing of my legs and I find this is the best method and result apart from shaving regularly. Hardest part was the first visit but am now a regular there.
I have looked at electrolysis and Laser but not worth me going to that effort right now but definitely on the radar.
Treat life's difficult times as if they are normal moments, this makes the normal and special ones even more fantastic.

I picked up a cheap epilator at Wally World for about 35 bucks. Stings like hell the first couple of times, but eases up the more you use it. I use mine about once every 7-10 days. The longer I use it, the thinner the hair becomes. Do NOT use on face, armpits, or bikini area. Doesn't work well and hurts like hell! Hope this helps
