Hello everyone - new joiner here. A little about me:
I'm a cis gay male in UK. I work for a global IT services company as a consultant, and my secondary role is Chair of the LGBT+ employee network. This has been my "baby" for the last 3 years since it came into being, and we've progressed a significant way as a company in the inclusion space, thanks primarily to the hard work and dedication of a few key people.
Inclusion has always been a passion of mine. From a very early age I knew that I was different to people around me, and as I grew and learnt more I recognised the positive aspects of difference. In adulthood I was able to put that into action in my home life and at work.
I've joined Susan's to improve my understanding of trans* and gender non-binary topics and issues, both in the UK and globally. I have reasonable knowledge of the basics and hope I'll be able to demonstrate an ability to be open and willing to learn, as well as share.
I look forward to chatting with some of you. I may not respond immediately to any messages and please bear with me as I start to explore and learn where things are.
