"Why?"

"I don't want you to be Alone!"

Hello! :) My name is *yet to be formally elected but soooo close to Jessica*, from Brisbane Australia. A lurker of shadows here previously, but now.. rather conveniently.. coming out ::)

A recent turn of events has increased my traffic here, and the EEEEEEVER present sensation of seclusion spurred me on to open myself to this community. This recent event was finally commencing my HRT treatment :)

Gender has been something I have struggled with for 29 years now.. even today having started affirming treatment it is still something I relate to with at least some degree of unfamiliarity.. something I am working on harder and harder every day.. finding more and more questions as I go.

I originally came here seeking information and advice.. but then the prospect of befriending someone here in Australia (having noticed Australian members) was too exciting to pass up! I consider myself extremely lucky to have a very supportive family and.. at least for the moment it seems.. a very supportive partner, however I have so many questions they can't answer.. and lets be honest.. support (as great and blessed as it is) is not the same as understanding.

I look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible :)

Most sincerest of regards and warmest of greetings,

Jess :)
