Desire orchiectomy

What are some valid reasons for orchiectomy that don't require a therapist letter? In other words, what would be required for a urologist to perform the procedure and to have it covered by medical insurance?

For me, it was the pain caused by them being drawn so tightly into my body. I was given two choices. Either stop taking my hormones, or get the orchiectomy. My answer could have not been more simple.

This was a long time ago. Things may have changed with some insurance companies. Do some homework. Some might not even require syptmoms or letters.

All the docs / surgeons I know require a psych letter and even a letter from your endo if you've changes psych so they know how long you've been seeing them.........
What are the reasons you dont want to see a psych to get that important letter saying you know the pros and cons and you really need it and its not a passing thing ?
Im in Aus and I still had to pay the consult fees and I guessing it will be the same where you are and you will still be out of pocket XXXX amount....

And another thing to think of is the surgeon him self knows the correct technique when he does the orchi as to avoid damaging the area to much if your thinking of having full GRS at a later stage as some surgeons dont do GRS on orchi patients or you may need skin grafts.....
Eather way you will need a psych and or endo letter,,,
