what to do with ignorant doctors?

My doctor doesn't seem to know much about intersex conditions. I told him my results were xyx and he was all confused saying I can't have female parts and have those chromosomes. But I saw instances where it can happen. What can I do? To get a more informed doctor?

I'd start by searching online and/or make a post asking if anyone can recommend a doctor in your area.

You need to explain to your doctor that with androgen insensitivity it's possible for somebody XY to develop fully feminine. Intersex is really complicated and unless your doctor is willing to learn about it, you may need to consider another doctor if treatment is needed related to an intersex condition. I've treid searching online. But the thing is I don't know what's exactly wrong or what condition I could have so like I always get a geneticist would be the answer but I don't know of any in my area I did three searches and no results at all.

Yeah I don't have androgen insensitivity syndrome. I was deemed fertile at 12 because I had inconsistent periods and they had to do an ultrasound and everything came out normal. I think that's actually why my doctor said it's impossible for me to have xyx chromosomes in other words xxy. Because my gonads are female. But I had read rarely it can happen in conjuction with swyer's syndrome which is less known.
