Transgender Forum at CNN tonight

If you're in the Atlanta area there is a transgender forum at CNN this evening, 11/16.  Participants are United/Skywest captain Jessica Taylor, retired Navy SEAL Kristen Beck, HRC Board member Ames Simmons and CNN news editor Dani Stewart.  I know it's late notice but it begins at 6PM.

I just saw Jessica Taylor at the Genderevolution conference in Salt Lake City on the 5th of this month.  I have to say she is extremely awesome and an inspiration to everyone.  I recommend going to this forum if you are able.

Dawn, I'm sorry I didn't see this until now.  It was streamed online and if you go to Kristen Beck's Facebook page, you might be able to view it after the fact.

Josilyn, isn't Jessica great?  I met her at Southern Comfort Transgender Conference at the end of September.  If you look at her Facebook page, I took the cover photo at the top of her page of Jessica and three other people doing the "wings" with their arms.

That is pretty awesome!  I didn't get the opportunity to meet with her in person, however I wish I was able to as I would have loved to find out more about her.  I hope she comes back to my area again, as I would definitely go to see her..  and this time I would want a photo op.

I only got to spend about 20-30 minutes with her and the other people doing photos and talking before she had to head back to the airport. I did get a photo with her and I look short, fat, old and frumpy and she is tall and gorgeous.  LOL  She and I talked airlines some since I'm retired from one.  If you ever get a chance to meet her, take it.  She is just a great person overall.
