So I saw at my college a notice for a trans support group at a place I actually know where to get to, in the Nottingham (England) city centre, at a realistic time 5 - 7 pm. I saw it was for "young people". I know from experience that means 25 at most. But I thought maybe their rules are lax, can't hurt to check it out.

Nope. I'm 32. Ineligible. So I just told the receptionist thanks for your time. But she didn't want me to leave without trying to find an adult one, and asked if I looked online. I said the only one I could find started late and was located near the M1, meaning you need a car to get there. But she gave me the number to the LBGT switchboard. I haven't phoned them yet but If there was one, that's accessible they would have known about it.

Their directions assume a car. And I can't take a bus as most bus services stop at 11. Why do we "old people" have to go out of town so late? They never thought to have one that's not for young people?

I get so p'ed off that the support group they recommend is the same one I discounted years ago. >:(
