Hello,
It's wonderful seeing this forum and it's resources for transgender people. I am 19 years old, MtF, and lesbian (I think) from Florida. While I've never been a member, Susan's Place was how I found out that I was transgender a year ago, because I came across transitioning on it. It felt liberating to know that I wasn't doomed to a lifetime of wanting to be a girl. At the moment, though, I'm not sure about HRT, due to living in a largely rural area and wanting to have children in the future (which would be impossible after taking estrogen).
While I like to present as a tomboy, the truth is I'm a bookworm. My favorite hobby is history - mainly Roman, Japanese, and Germanic; with their assortment of emperors, shoguns, and kings killing and bribing their way into power. I occupy a lot of my time working on learning Italian, German, and Japanese due to an interest in the works of the 19th - 20th century German & Italian idealist thinkers. Never really been into television outside documentaries.
