Oh, I forgot to update!
So I'm now home in Canada.
The first day, throwing up blood and all, was not my favorite. Apparently my ability to walk around and be lucid was uncommon.
After the first couple days swelling reached it's peak, where my face was blown up like a balloon - but I never had my eyes swell shut like Rhonda did. Around that time, two (cis) lesbian friends from home came and kept me company, playing cards and stuff. I mostly did that, watched netflix, and ate (no problems chewing! but my jaw would get very tired and everything would get stuck in my stitches.)
The first annoying thing I had happening was that whenever I put the compression bandage on, my mouth would fill with gross yellow liquid. This happened less and less, eventually only happening if i rubbed my jaw on purpose. I was spitting it all out because ewwww.
The second annoying thing was that everything got stuck in my stitches in my mouth, and i had no good way of getting them out.
The third annoying thing was the nose bandage. after about a week it started dripping glue randomly, and it would get itchy and intolerable. And then when we took it off - i had a reaction to it! and my skin all flaked off.
Anyway, after around a week I left the apartment to walk. Walking made everything worse, but it wasn't too bad. My bruises disappeared by a week and a half (also unusual, so I hear!).
Ive attached a play by play of my swelling going down, as well as the first before and afters they took (am I allowed to share those?)

I had numbness and paralysis coming out of the surgery, and it's not really gone away yet. I cant move or feel half of my bottom lip, or any of my forehead or the top of my head. I can move one eyebrow though.
I didn't have staples in my head, even though I did the hairline incision. I think it was two long stitches, plus some buried ones in my hair on the sides. It feels very well hidden.
the dissolvable stitches in my mouth were also one long one threaded up and down, and it came loose yesterday so I removed it.
I had type III brow done, and I've seen this on x-rays. They let me keep the x-rays!
The surgeon and the team were very helpful and very nice
Finally, I feel like the team did a very good job so far, and I would recommend them to others.
