Hi, everybody! My name is Stacy, I'm from Boston, and I am 37 mtf. I've always known I was supposed to be a girl but I never really put the dysphoria with the gender because I am deaf and I was told as a child that the symptoms of dysphoria were really me being upset at being deaf. Despite my age I've actually kept myself looking pretty young, and I am hoping to go on a low-dose of hormone after the first of the year. I'm married and want to stay that way. My wife has allowed me some wiggle room for gender expression, and I do not want to go over that line.
My other interests are writing poetry and playing guitar. Most of my song lyrics are blues, so they're pretty generic (Woke up this morning, da na na na nah! Then I went back to bed....)
There was someone I saw here who is 40 or so, and she posted pics of her transition to female before she started HRT and she looked amazing! I am trying to find her so I could perhaps become her protegee, lol...
I've been lurking here for a year now and I'm finally taking the plunge and getting more involved!
