I certainly hope that the hormones are prescribed by your endocrinologist and obtained from a local pharmacy and not mail order that does not require a prescription. There are counterfeit drugs out there and you must know where the hormones are manufactured to be sure that they are safe.
For most all of us transgender folks, getting on the proper hormones was the happiest day of our lives.
