Are there any SRS surgeons in Louisiana?

If not can any board certified plastic surgeon perform the surgery?

You are better off considering somebody who has preformed a number of surgeries. If you  wish to  stay in the United States, you still have several within a few hours of flight time. Air costs could be less than $500 round trip and you add in a couple of nights in a hotel.

i was hoping to not have to travel to far since I don't make much money and I'm having Medicaid pay for it.

I wouldn't trust a generally trained plastic surgeon for that. The method is quite involved. I'd say look for people who can help you keep costs down in locations with practicing GCS surgeons.

(I'd you were to choose BMC I could out you up during recovery.)

Um did Louisiana lift the Medicaid ban on grs there ? Uh all state Medicaid does not fund it  ... the gov has to lift such a ban

they pay for other transgender care such as hormone therapy and endocrinologist appointments so they must. I'll have to call.

No that's not how that works ... NY etc (and yes the red states ) did this also before they lifted that surgery ban ....
only a few states lifted the surgery ban
