What do you ladies do for swimwear early-ish into your transition?

I know it's early to think about this, since it's, you know, December, but I like to think ahead.

By the time sandy beaches are in the cards, I hope to be 5-6 months on HRT. I know not to expect miracles by that time re: breast/hip development. Do you let that stop you from wearing something cute, or do you just avoid the situation entirely? I know it's a little hard to say in my case, as I have no idea what I'll look like by then, but just looking for some personal stories from those who have been here before.

So you're about 6 months now? Have you noticed much change, bodily-speaking? I've seen a few ladies on here say it's by the year-or-so mark that they've noticed their body starts to really read feminine.

My birthday is end of April, and would love to be out by then, but not sure I'll be ready.

I'm just coming up to 5 months, My hormones are properly female level now, my breasts have grown abit, but arent even an A yet, I think things have really started to speed up though.
I think my body is just starting to change, I feel like my butt has started gaining fat, my upper arms and shoulders have also begun slimming down.
But as I was going through a very physical period(harvest) at work my arms kept their strength abit.
I am 65 kilos though so my lack of weight may be hindering my fat gains!
We will see wher I am at the end of may (my birthday)
Do I dare wander out in a bikini? :I

Thanks Saira, I wish, I watched the show last night actually, the fashion show in paris., seeing the clips of their workouts really motivates me to get in shape and tighten up for this coming year!

I wear a bikini top and bottom. My bottom is a US Polo Association tie side in purple. It is tight enough to tuck things out of the way.

For my top, I have a simple triangle top with no padding that I bought from American Apperal. I restarted HRT with an A cup and AA has a lot styles for smaller cup sizes. Also, the triangles are double thick material, so it hides THO well enough. I am now a small C and the top still fits, it just has to stretch a little more ☺

For me, womens board shorts and a swim shirt. If I'm hiding the girls, I'll put on a competition bikini top under the shirt.

I'll never have a bikini body.

I do bikini bottoms and a women's swim shirt or rash-guard on top. I'm probably going to go the tankini route this coming year.

I am still pre-op, but late last year before heading to Facial Team in Marbella I bought a one piece black low back swimsuit with integrated skirt (sort of flared from the waist. It has nice semi low front, but with my small C Cup breasts shows off my figure I look really good in it. Well in Marbella I ventured out cautiously to the resort swimming pool  and didn't even get a raised eyebrow, other than a few men looking at me as I climbed out of the pool with rather elongated nipples clearly showing through the material. (when they are cold they become quite obvious). After the first trip to the pool in the resort I became very blasé' about it all and wondered just what the issues in mind were all about. Ps I was registered in the resort as woman.

judithlynn, sounds like you have the figure to wear this suit, more power to you as woman, great when one has confidence to wear a nice swimsuit and look great.  C size breasts are nice for most women, not to large or small, just show their figure and that they are a woman.
