I was wondering, once you start HRT how long does it take before you see a loss of upper muscle size and strength? I quite honestly would like to see a viable reduction in neck, shoulder, and biceps size.

I finally get to see my psychiatrist next week. I'm trying not to be too excited because I need him to give me the official diagnosis and a letter so I can finally see the endocrinologist. I don't know how I'll handle it if he says he want to wait on the letter. I am so ready to be on HRT right now.

A lifetime of depression and repressed emotions is nothing more than existence. I for one want to live now not just exist!

I noticed loss of strength starting after 5 months and my arms and upper torso are changing. slow but relentless progress with the most noticeable being my "girls"...I really do admire anyone able to bind for any period of time...mine are back to hurting(growing ) again after a two week reprieve and the thought of binding them makes me shudder.

First 3 months, and has been steady since. And congratulations on therapy! It's a big step for sure.  :)
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

Muscle size reduced pretty rapidly, so you should see big differences in six months or so.  As for loss of strength, I really haven't noticed any.  If I went to the barbells I probably would but as far as everyday activity it's minimal or non-existent.  I have noted a reduction in aerobic capacity.  I'm sure this is due to HRT reducing my red blood cell count somewhat and is exacerbated by my frequent blood donations the past six months.
