Treacle Shave
I booked a consultation for a treacle shave on Wednesday and the consultation is $220CAD. What can I expect from the consultation?  They said they need to do blood work and sign a few forms. The reception told me the basic cost would be $7500 for the surgery,  so I called my bank to increase my credit limit. But they said they can't.
And.... here comes the questions. From operations,  to funds.
1.)What do drs do during consultation?  (no need to be in too detail but I guess ill know on wed
nesday.) And long would I need to wait to see of they accept me?
2.)What can I expect before, during and after surgery? How long does it usually take to heal?
I work in a kitchen and usually work 6 hours a day and 3 days a week roughly.   Im sure I can get a few weeks off but i also wanna work.  would it be fine?
3.)Now funds.  Do most plastic surgeons accept monthly payments?  Like pre authorized payments?
Im sure I can loan money.  But even then I dont think my back will allow me to withdraw a big sum of money.
Any advice or tips?  That would be helpful. Any comments ot suggestions would be helpful.

1. The doctor will evaluate you for the surgery. You will find out if the surgery is needed to accomplish your goals and what is possible. In my case, full removal wasn't possible without damaging my voice. What was left is small enough that it hasn't been a problem.

2. In a couple of days you can resume your normal routine and in around a week the stitches will come out. This is a pretty minor surgery and shouldn't slow you down very long. Save your time off for something more important.

3. I suspect most plastic surgeons will not do credit but you will need to ask in order to be sure. If insurance will cover it, they will wait for the insurance coverage to come through.
However if you are in Canada, it's very possible it would be covered under the government medical care if you are properly diagnosed. Doing it by the book could save you a good deal of money.
