off the hormones, boobs growing like crazy?

So, I cut my dose of HRT for a week, and then 1/4th the last two days until Sat (stopping Sun, a day early, because I was busy and forgot my dose anyway) ironically, my breasts started in a growth spurt with I cut the dose, the calmed down for a bit. And then once I went off the HRT they've been in another growth spurt.

I thought it was interesting -- they hurt like crazy today, actually, and the same with yesterday.

Has anyone else experienced this? One friend I talked to who just had surgery said she didn't have that at all. I would think with the cuts in HRT and now being off HRT that I still wouldn't be feminizing, etc.

The period of time you took to tapering off was maybe not long enough for your body. Your body see's a drop in estrogen your breast thinks you have given birth, and your breast start to swell with milk . This is not permanent growth and could damage breast tissue if severe. I had the same thing happen to me when I went 3 months without HRT after 4 years on HRT because of financial problems, and it does hurt like hell..

What do I say to him? "Um, my boobs are growing"? It's not like they are growing inches or anything. And, I'm not really supposed to go back on my hormones until after the surgery. *shurgs* Maybe it will slow down or stop as what ever levels are in my body drop, etc. It's not that I'm worried about breast growth (that's fine with me) I just found it really odd and never heard of it. Then again, I had breast tissue grow in my teens and I wasn't on HRT in my teens.

So, just over two weeks, I think that my breasts have slowed down and they don't feel as full as before. I don't know if they shrunk that much. *shurgs* Although, oddly enough, I'm still getting what feels like growth and they swell up for a bit, and then stop after a couple of days. No where as much as it did while on HRT, although.
