Well, she has known for over a month and I have to tell you, my wife has adjusted to me being Transgendered much better than I ever imagined. We have both realized that we love each other more than life itself and she has agreed to let me explore my Krystina side. I am seeing a counselor, I have an appointment in February to begin HRT and tomorrow, my wife is going to meet Krystina. I am going to get totally dressed for her, she actually helped me pick out some shoes, some makeup and some badly needed under garments. She has actually adjusted quite well to me being Krystina, but she has never seen her and tomorrow I will unveil her to my wife. I will be taking some pictures and I will post one here. Please wish me luck. This is my first real attempt at allowing Krystina out in 18 years and I am both nervous and thrilled.
Good night everyone!

Hi Krystina!

Best of luck tomorrow, hun, I know both of you must be very nervous. It sounds like you have a very understanding mate, and that is truly a great asset for anybody, trans or not.

Your bravery will serve you well all along your journey, be proud of yourself for taking these chances, you deserve all the happiness in the world, and being free to be authentic is a gift from the universe that many do not ever receive.

Big cyber *hug* for you!

Well, it's been over a month now, she has known since Dec 17th. We have cried and argued and cried some more but we both agree that I can no longer go on as my previous male self. She knows that I hate being a male and the trappings of a male body, she understands and she truly wants me to be happy. We have pledged our undying love to each other, regardless of our future. The good news is I start HRT on February 10th, but I am not coming out to the world until after September 22nd. There are various personal reasons why and I will choose to keep my HRT at a low dose until then.
I will be living my life as Krystina in our house and occasionally out as we desire, but I will not be coming out at work until September. I have found and purchased several new pairs of shoes and a few wigs. I am hoping my "look" will improve greatly, since I did not get any rave reviews over my last picture. That's okay, I felt wonderful. I also got my package from IT Cosmetics and I suspect that will help a lot too. So, wish me luck.
I love you all!!!

Thanks for the update Krystina, it must be exciting for both of you. When you build up the confidence and nerve I really recommend visiting a cosmetics shop, something like Sephora, MAC or Ulta and getting a makeover. They can help with colors and techniques. I have never seen anyone put down or diminished in any way. For me it has always been both fun and helpful (and a bit costly). Whatever you do, enjoy the experiences you are going through and treasure your wife for joining you on the journey. - Anne
