Mercedes Williamson was a beautiful 17 yo girl who had her whole life in front of her. She had dreams, goals, and aspirations. Her photo should be displayed instead of the monster who murdered her, a girl whose life was cut short. I am saddened to admit that she was murdered in the same county that I live in, about 20 miles up the road from my home. Old ways die hard in this state. In some ways that can be a good thing, but we have to know which ways we should keep, and which ones we should throw away. Remember Mercedes Williamson. May she rest in peace
