That's always super flattering!
Given my harsh appearance, and heavy 'goth' look, most people avoid eye contact with me, I'm actually kinda jealous.

When I first met my Therapist, there was a mix up with her appointments, and she did a double take and called me by another female patients name. She called me 'Emily', I guess I look like an Emily?

The only other time I think people had literally no question about my true gender, I was being STALKED around Yorkdale mall in Toronto by an older man when I was about 17.. He claimed I was 'the most beautiful goth girl he'd ever seen and that we were his fetish.' Offered to buy my books in Chapters, and refused to believe me when I told him he was 'barking up the wrong tree.' He attempted to grope me to 'check' and I broke his arm.
Not a pleasant story, I ran as fast as I could back to the bus terminal sobbing.
