Hello,

I was wondering if anybody knows anything dentures and taking testosterone.
I'm worried that my dentures might not fit anymore if taking testosterone changes the shape of my jaw.
If my jaw changes, will it continue to do so?
I also wonder how i will know that i'm ready for new dentures.

It be great to hear any insight about -or experiences with testosterone and dentures.

Your bones fuse together at 18 for most people so it's impossible for there to be any more changes to bone growth. The changes to the jaw you see on a lot of trans men are due to fat redistribution.

Facial changes are not related to bone movement, but fat redistribution. So I think you'll be okay.

My roommate had dentures and I learned how critical a good fit was. Even minor changes in the jaw can cause fit issues so if you start developing sores, have the fit checked out. Weight changes or age will cause changes to the jaw so every few years you may need to get the dentures relined to correct for the changes that happen over time.

Actually it depends, yes your jaw can change it depends on your bite , loss of teeth and movement of the maxilla. the maxilla is all the cheekbones, and near orbit area down.
If you read mike mew about the maxilla forward or backwards, the position of the tongue and loss of teeth.
Taking the male hormone will actually make your face flat, and estrogen with more apples cheeks.

claimingpower.com is a source where it reveals why teeth effects our jaws, cheeks, bites and breathing problems.
