I wasn't sure what section to put this in so sorry if this is in the wrong place. I'm trying to find a good but hopefully not too expensive beard trimmer and am completely overwhelmed by all the options. Do you guys have any suggestions? I don't have super long facial hair. I'm just looking for something that will let me keep my stubble or trim a short beard so I don't have to shave it all off when it gets too long.

I use a set of Wahl hair clippers with the #2 or #3 guard (whatever length my head hair is at the time) to trim my beard. If it's been a minute, I might also do some general cleaning up around my neck or cheeks with a double edge razor.

Wahl makes a beard trimmer that's around $20 (http://tinyurl.com/z3w4vql). Comes with a few different guard lengths so you can trim to whatever length you like, or take it off to get a little closer. I could probably get closer with the beard trimmer than I can with hair clippers, but I never take my facial hair down that much.

If you want to go high end look at the Oster 76. It's used by professionals. Unfortunatly not available in Australia when I was looking. Hopefully won't need such a thing much longer.

Thanks, but that one's definitely outside my budget. Maybe one day.
