Sorry for the previous brief post, my interest got the better of me, i did originally intend to bring the topic up myself, but what the heck, this is interesting, and I do like to wonder 'what if?'.
Let me preface by stating that ANY medical procedure is serious and should not be done without as much knowledge and safety as possible.
My reasons for considering the idea of a 'testicular-abdominal replacement' (for lack of a better term) are as follows:
I first started to think of the idea while reading about 'Temperature-dependent sex determination', in which temperature is a main controlling factor in the type of hormones produced with Aromatase as the leading catalyst. I then came across the medical definition 'cryptorchidism' (undescended testicles) in which the testicles do not produce sperm, and they may have limited androgen production. My thinking is that with the proper estrogen therapy combined with constant warmth on the testes as a possible androgen blocker, the process of MTF could be easier.
As far as surgery goes (within my very limited knowledge), it seems the procedure would be relatively safe, akin to a double hernia repair combined with a vasectomy.
Now here is where I get all science-fictioney: If the concept could work, and given the proper advancements in medical science, then maybe it would be possible for me to grow my own ovaries. And given the advancement maybe it could give my FTM brothers a way to grow their own testes.

Then there are the personal reasons I would have it done if it were safe: 1. I don't need them anymore, but given my reluctance to get rid of anything that may be useful to me in the future (potential ovaries), I would like to keep them stored in a nice safe place. 2. They just get in the way. I don't know if anyone else has experienced it, but having them caught between ones butt and a motorcycle tank when hitting the unseen pothole is just no fun at all. 3. I wouldn't have to tuck any longer.
As for now, I'll stick to tucking.
p.s. Thanks AnonyMs, I hadn't heard that, I'll look into it.
