Yes, they do still work. They look for a hormone called hCG which is actually produced by the placenta, not by your body. Testosterone has no effect on this.

I don't intend to have children but this thread is super interesting I didn't know that the hormone was produced via the placenta. I always thought it was more to do with oestrogen.

I just wanted to add that yes they do. Pregnancy tests look for a different hormone and they do work. I can't tell you the number of times I worried about pregnancy and the tests always came out negative. I've had two positives before T (i miscarried once at 16 and aborted at 21) and no positives after T.
