Rae anne

I want to give you a quick story of my life. I'm 70 years old, born male and raised in 50s and 60s as a boy. All along I felt I was a little different but didn't know what or why. Married for 9 years, divorced for 30, retired at 65. One day after retiring I realized what has been wrong all along, and it felt so good not having to interact with my co-workers as a man. I'm too old to Transition or dress as a woman, but I want to shout to the world I AM NOT MAN AND NEVER WAS. Burden lifted.

Thank You:  I have needed to tell someone, and this has been one giant step for me. You can't believe the burden I've been carrying around for the last few years.  I feel relieved that there are other people like me that can understand what I've been going thru.

Welcome Rae Anne and i am sorry it took you so long to find yourself but i am very happy for you that you did find yourself.  Also i dont think your to old to dress as a woman even if its only at home when your by yourself it can also be freeing in my experience.
If you can't accept yourself,  how can you expect others to accept you?

Welcome to the club Rae Anne.  I'm so glad you are finally able to admit that and that you are still able to change and grow.
As one boomer to another, in the words of brother Bob Dylan, "the times they are a changin'."
Nice name.

Hey Rae Anne,

Welcome aboard the Transamerica cruise liner also known as Susan's Place.  Get comfy in a deck chair and read all about it.  I hope you know that many of us started as seniors (60 for me) and it still works great.  There are no age limits but there are risk factors and physicians with their own standards.

So good to hear of your sense of freedom to shout it out loud
Open, out and evolving queer trans person forever with HRT support since March 13, 2013
